Job Tagline: Regional Vice President - Information Technology Business Development Description: Our client is looking for a Regional Vice President of Business Development for its growing IT Services Division. Knowledge of hospital physician and payer markets relative to information technology services and a rolodex of numerous contacts with healthcare software vendors are a must.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Achieve sales objectives as specified by Vice President • Develop a sales plan that identifies target revenue and prospects timetables and needed resources • Lead position in sales presentations and coordination of company resources to match prospect needs • Work with Solutions Development and senior management to finalize contract details • Advise management of any breakdown in communication loss of contracts • Complete weekly reports of all phases of sales activities KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: • Knowledge of hospital physician and payer markets relative to information technology services. • Experienced selling off-shore / best-shore capabilities • Experienced in 3-6 month sales cycles with the average deal being anywhere between 1M - 2.5M • Knowledge of IT Services industry and selling software services to healthcare IT companies. - Testing - Integration - Software Development - Implementation • Knowledge of software development solutions and healthcare software package implementations in particular EMR solutions. • Contacts with numerous healthcare independent software vendors • Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously. • Outstanding verbal written and interpersonal skills. • Sold into EMR / PACS companies. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree preferred or related work experience • 5 years of direct selling experience to healthcare related organizations for IT services • Prior experience selling to the C-level • Experience in preparing presentations utilizing ROI value propositions |
